As someone with a park skiing background, the Line Bacon 108 is one of the most fun and familiar feeling skis above 105mm underfoot. This is a powder ski that feels like a park ski. It's plenty wide for any powder day but isn't completely out of place when the fresh snow is gone. In waist-deep snow, it's gas, but it's also surprisingly fun when the snow isn't perfect. Any skier with a more creative approach to the mountain will appreciate the energy and playful feel of the bacon. Twin-tip construction and a softer flex pattern give it a poppy, balanced, and playful feel that's perfect for anyone looking to get more crafty in the backcountry. Launching hits and taking your tricks to new parts of the mountain is more than possible on the Bacon. Through chutes, trees, bowls, bumps, and steeps the ski provides unmatched energy and a quick feel. If you want to have great stability and on-trail performance, this isn't the ski for you. The playfulness is what we love about the Bacon, it's the freestyle pow ski. Soft snow is going to be where the Bacon is most at home, but I wouldn't mind having this ski on a slushy spring day on the East Coast where I'm lapping the park or buttering down the groomers.
