The all new K2 Recon 110 Boa is a boot built for average feet and intermediate skiers. The 110 flex is a great stiffness for newer skiers, or intermediate skiers making the jump from rental boots to a better fitting retail ski boot. This isn't the most powerful boot out there, but for skiers who have a more recreational style and don't feel the need for an aggressive fitting boot this is a well rounded option. The Recon 110 Boa can easily drive most recreational skis out there, but may struggle with higher performing, stiffer skis. For more experienced skiers who are after a higher performance level, or prefer a more locked in fit and feel there are better options. Expert skiers may appreciate a boot that is more responsive or more precise fitting. However, if you're looking for an easier to put on boot with a more relaxed fit, this could work well for you. While this is a boot geared for new skiers or intermediates, K2 has done a great job building a boot that works for a wide range of skier types.
This is a 100mm lasted boot that fits a lot of different volumes of feet, however it is best for skiers with average feet. Heel is snug and not aggressive. Pressure on top of the foot is firm and evenly dispersed, but never heavy enough to cause discomfort. Width forgiving for a mid volume fit and can accomodate wider feet that are tolerant of compression. Toe box is generous in width and length. If you prefer a stiffer flex but still like the idea of a more comfort oriented fit, check out the K2 Recon 120 or 130
