A boot that offers awesome performance for skiers who have average feet.
The K2 Anthem 105 is built for average skiers who want/need a little bit of stiffer flexing boot. A 105 flex is powerful enough to drive just about any ski out there efficiently but isn't so stiff that it's difficult to put on or lacks comfort. This is a boot that works for a huge range of abilities. Experts will appreciate the responsiveness the Anthem 105 can provide when they're out there pushing it a little harder while progressing intermediates will notice a difference in how efficient their skiing feels moving away from softer flexing boots. K2 is known for having "softer than advertised" boots, and that's okay; not everyone needs to be in the stiffest boots out there, and having a more forgiving flex is great for progressing skiers. This is a powerful boot for more comfort-oriented skiers with average feet. It does everything a ski boot should and it doesn't crush your feet. The BOA fit system makes for an even wrapping around the foot (less possibility of pressure points on top of the foot compared to buckles) and it's easy to make micro adjustments on the fly during your ski day.
This is a mid-volume boot that fits a lot of different foot shapes. The heel is snug but on the more plush side of things, great for good skiers who may be more comfort-oriented. Pressure on top of the foot is firm but evenly dispersed, rarely too heavy to cause discomfort if you have average feet. Width is true for a mid-volume boot but leaning towards the more generous side of things due to a thinner, more plush, liner and the thin shell walls used in this boot. Length is true to size. The K2 boots are also easy to modify if we need to address some sensitive areas of the foot. If you're looking for a more plush fit and feel and don't need a 105 flex boot, check out the K2 Anthem 95.
If you prioritize comfort, are a progressing skier, and have an average foot the K2 Anthem could be your new boot. A 105 makes driving skis efficient and predictable while a softer liner and a BOA adjustment system make for a fit comfortable enough to keep you skiing all day.
