The boot for skiers with ice in their veins. It's smooth, stable, and responsive.
The Head Raptor WCR 115 is a women's boot built for harder-charging skiers who prefer a more precise fit. For a boot that is advertised as a 96mm low volume fit, the Raptor offers a relatively generous fit in the midfoot and in length to keep your feet happy all day. The material used in the liner is not overly aggressive, and break-in for this boot is a breeze. As far as performance goes, the Raptor can hang with the best of them. It offers an insanely smooth and progressive flex that allows for predictable and easy power transfer from boot to ski and keeps your ski day as efficient as possible. For a boot with a 115 flex rating, it isn't a difficult boot to put on or take off. If you're after a low-volume fit and unrivaled performance, this is one of the best boots out there for you. Keep on charging.
This is a fit for skiers that prefer a performance-oriented feel. It's firm in the heel and Achilles, snug across the instep and more narrow in the midfoot to keep your feet as locked in as possible while you turn em and burn em. If you're looking for a comfort-oriented fit, you're on the wrong page but the Raptor 115s have a liner that is shockingly soft to keep your feet happy on the hill. The liner and shell can be manipulated to address small pressure points you may feel. Length is true to size but if you're going after a performance fit it might be worth discussing the pros and cons of sizing down. This is a tough boot to beat, performance-wise, unless you want a professionally fit race boot. Ex-racers will love it; aggressive skiers will have a tough time finding a more powerful boot. Sick.
The Raptor 115 is for more aggressive or advanced skiers with narrow foot shapes or skiers who prefer a more solid fit. For a boot with so much performance, it really isn't an uncomfortable boot to be in all day.
