You see "RS" in the title of a boot made by Head and it definitely sounds like a race boot, but the fit on these boots is actually out of this world. Yes it's an LV and yes it's made by Head, but the plastic is so light (on par with an Atomic Hawx Ultra for lightest downhill boot around) that the snug fit feels more like a consistent wrap than a full-foot crush. While we're on the topics of plastics all of the boots in this line are really easy to work on and respond really well to heat in terms of baking the shells to make adjustments. If you're looking for a low volume ski boot this is absolutely mandatory to have on your list. It's snugger than a Salomon S/Max but its not as grabby on the ankle or as short on the big toe as an Atomic Hawx Ultra.

What's the difference between the Nexo Lyt RS and the Nexo Lyt?

Width. The boots are the exact same construction and materials: same foam, plastics, etc. The RS boots will just be narrower throughout and the foot and more snug around the heel, the Nexo Lyts will be a little more forgiving on the sides of the foot. Both are pretty true to their published widths of 98mm and 100mm, respectively.
