A true all-mountain ski that has a quick, nimble feel underfoot that will shine off-trail and in softer snow. It's manuverable, initiates a turn smoothly, and is wide enough to handle some deeper snow or turbulent snowpack. It feels super playful once you get it off-trail.

Easy-to-ski but down to rip. Off-trail and soft snow is its domain.
The Head Kore series has been around for a decent while now and hasn't changed much over its lifetime aside from minor tweaks that continue to improve this ski. It was improved for the 22/23 season and will remain the same this year in terms of technology because this is the best version of the ski yet. They grip very well, considering how light they are, they offer great float in softer snow and they're incredibly responsive without feeling twitchy or nervous. The Head Kore 99 makes sense for a skier who rips all over the place and seeks out softer snow, trees, and fluff on the side of the trail. Even though this ski does excel in softer snow it holds up well on groomers, and hardpack and can actually arc a pretty mean turn. This ski is also plenty light enough to throw a touring, or hybrid touring (Shift 13), binding on them to use for some Alpine Touring. Bonus points to Head for giving it a clean graphic every year. Who doesn't love that?
Who's this ski for? Skiers who spend a lot of time heading off-piste and looking for powder, but want something that will hold up on a firm day.
Who isn't this ski for? Skiers who want a powerful ski that excels on groomers.

A great option for anyone looking in that 100MM category and wants a directional ski that rips off piste but might surprise you with how well it skis on groomers. Definitely can tell it's happiest in the bumps, trees, and soft snow but carves a pretty good turn if I do say so myself.
