Head Kore 93 Skis 2024

On groomers, the Kore 93 is super energetic and very fun to make short to medium-radius turns on. Against some other skis in this category, it lacks stability, but the trade-off is easier turn initiation and more maneuverability. That's gonna come into play when you're off-trail whipping through bumps and trees.

A lightweight all-mountain ski that can carve well and is a dream in softer snow.

HARD KORE.

The 22/23 Head Kore 93 is a lighter weight, soft snow-loving ski that can more than hold its own a groomer or hardpack. Turn initiation is nearly automatic and the ski feels confident in a turn. The Kore 93 has quite a bit of energy from one turn to the next which keeps the skiing exciting as well. At 93mm underfoot the skis float surprisingly well but they aren't so wide that grip is sacrificed, the strong camber profile and stiffer flex help to keep these skis locked in on icier days. In the trees, bumps, or softer snow these skis are incredibly easy to flick around. Since this is a lighter ski, it would also make for an awesome touring ski that has some real confidence and predictability on the descent. If you ski all over the mountain and gravitate towards softer snow and tight terrain these are a solid option. Want more float? Check out the Kore 99.

Who's this ski for? Skiers looking for a ski that isn't very wide but still can dominate some soft snow and tight terrain.

Who isn't this ski for? Skiers looking for a powerful, aggressive groomer ski. Skiers looking for a pure powder ski.

The Test Crew

We test products year round in order to curate the best gear for you.

Great option if you're looking for a groomer ski that doesn't lack playfulness. It's a directional ski that feels more fun and easy to pivot than it should. Wicked fun in tight terrain and can even handle some softer snow. This is for the skier who needs a groomer ski that's also kinda sick off-trail.
