The stiffest thing isn't a requirement for you but having a lightweight grilamid boot with a good walk mode and great downhill performance is.  The Kore 2's heel pocket is incredibly comfortable for how supportive and precise it is around the ankle and achilles.  While the heel is precise the forefoot and toes are a slightly more relaxed fit which is great, when it's time to ascend.  Head took aspects of the fit that you would need for each application of a true all-mountain boot and put it into the Kore 2.  Excellent range of motion, super light and it can drive a pair of powerful skis very effectively.

How's the Fit: Runs a smidge big length wise, comfortable 100 mm width very anotomical, the Kore 2 feels snugger in the heel than the rest of the boot.
