One of the easiest boots to put on and it provides the performance a beginner/intermediate skier needs.
The Head Edge 110 is the perfect boot for progressing skiers with wider-than-average feet who are making the jump from rental boots or those looking to replace old, uncomfortable retail boots. The 110 flex is forgiving yet strong and responsive enough to allow you to feel confident on the hill as you continue to progress as a skier. The high-volume fit the Edge 110 offers is generous enough to keep wider feet happy all day on the hill. Not every skier needs to be in the stiffest boots out there. The Edge 110 also has a walk mode on the back to keep you happy if you're walking around the resort before or after your ski day.
The Head Edge 110 is on the more precise side of high-volume boots but fits more generously than the stiffer Head Edge 130 due to a softer liner. The length is generous but not enough to worry about sizing down. The sides of the feet are a bit snug for a high-volume boot but the liner is soft enough in the forefoot so you won't feel overly compressed in the ski boot. The heel and ankle area is snug, but not nearly as firm as a mid or low-volume boot will be. Instep and top of the foot are generous, making this a great option for skiers with thicker ankles or high arches. The cuff of this boot is accommodating enough to keep larger or more athletic calves happy in the boot all day.
The Head Edge 110 does everything a beginner/intermediate skier with wider feet needs. It's warm, comfortable, and easy to put on and take off. It's not the most powerful boot out there but it is strong enough to make you a more efficient skier.
