The Fischer RC4 Curv 130 flexes a little soft, the 140 feels a bit more like a stiff 130 when on snow, at room temp it will feel mushy -- a characteristic of vacuplast, Fischer's proprietary technology.  The linter in the Curv 140 is precise and gives you the locked in feel that you would expect in a 140 flex ski boot, but without a restrictive feel in the forefoot, it almost feels comfortable, you wouldn't guess that it's a 97 mm last.  Strong skiers that want a boot that is precise and tunable, RC4 Curv 140 is the move.

The Curv 140's 97 last fits bigger than other LV boots, you don't feel like you're being squeezed in a vise, you just feel locked in.  While the heel hold is excellent it isn't overbearing like previous Fischer models could be.

How's the Fit: The Curv 140 doesn't run small or big, it runs comfortably for it's sized, You haven't tried on a LV boot like this before, still snug in the heel.
