The Elan C-Raider 12 is an awesome binding built to get you up the hill with ultimate effiency and back down with confidence. It's easy to use, has brakes, and each binding weighs about the same as a cup of water. Even though this binding is incredibly light it skis confidently and allows for good snow feel underfoot. Some ultra-light bindings feel vague, mushy, or tinny when your pushing skis around, this binding does not. The C-Raider provides just enough damping to eat up some negative vibrations you may get on a choppy descent. It also has a few different climbing aid heights to make that haul up just a little bit easier.
This binding is designed to work well with lighter weight, touring focused skis.
