The Burton Limelight is an awesome choice for anyone looking for a forgiving boot that focuses on a precise and comfortable fit. This boot fits a wide range of needs: beginner to intermediate riders looking for something easy, seasoned riders who just want something they won't have to work hard in, and last but not least, anybody making the switch from rentals will find the Limelight to be a great place to start. A heat moldable line focuses on comfort and warmth and is made with a little bit of give to expedite the break-in process. The double Boa lacing system makes getting in and lacing up effortless and makes for a precise fit through the whole boot and specifically the heel. The Boa on the side on the boot pulls your foot back and locks it into the heel pocket to minimize lift. The medium flex is favorable for beginner to intermediate riders who are striving to become stronger on the mountain. If you value comfort, warmth, and fun, then this boot is made for you.
Bootfitter's notes:
The Burton Limelight runs true to size with a narrow fit and great ankle lock. For someone with a narrow foot and low instep, there should be no problem sliding into a Limelight in your exact measurement and feeling that snug but comfortable fit. If that's you, you should have your sights set on this boot or something else from Burton. If you have a wide foot or a big calf, the Limelight going to feel snug, and unless you're fine with more pressure for increased heel hold, you're probably going to be happier in something wider.
