A mid-flex, directional shape with a floaty, freeride nose is gonna make the Gril Master a good time wherever you take it. It's not the burliest board, so if you're trying to push the speed limit or send the biggest lines there are better options.

SMOKIN’ THE GOOD STUFF.

The Gril Master is like that chill Dad who likes to remind everyone that he can still party. It’s an approachable board that won’t feel like it lacks if you’re ready to step up to some more gnarly terrain. Super aggressive riders might be able to find the speed limit, but high speeds are really the only thing that’ll make the Gril Master feel out of its element. While it’s not built for hard-charging, it’s at home anywhere on the mountain. A traditional camber profile with a slightly directional shape combined with a medium flex pattern gives it the ability to perform wherever you take it.

On groomers, it grips well and feels energetic in and out of a carve. In more technical stuff like trees or chutes, it’s predictable, nimble, and feels compliant when you go to pivot. It takes nothing to initiate a turn or get it up on edge thanks to a big nose that tapers off. That big nose also allows the board to handle soft snow or variable snowpack with no problem. The medium flex pattern and low swing weight will make it just as easy to release from a turn as it is to get into it. The Gril Master shares a lot of similarities with one of our long-time favorites from the Burton Family Tree line, the Burton Hometown Hero. In comparison, the Gril Master is not quite as snappy or responsive but feels a little more manageable and smooth. Someone who wants to aggressively drive their board all day might prefer the Hometown Hero as it has more substance underfoot. The Gril Master isn’t as burly, so it doesn’t have the same high-speed stability, but the trade-off is that it doesn’t require as much work to get the board to do what you want it to.

Who is this board for? Progressing riders who want an approachable board that they won’t outgrow as they get better. Advanced riders with a more mellow and playful riding style.

Who isn't this board for? Riders who spend all day straight-lining or searching for blower powder.
