Sooooo this jacket is really pretty sick! It's not quite a mid-layer, it's definitely more technical than a city piece, it's just all-around a sweet jacket that will end up being super versatile both on the mountain and off. Biggest thing to know about the Evergreen is that it's going to be seriously warm. Any time you have a true down jacket you know you're getting something that is super warm, but also really comfortable, because down is still going to be softer and more plush than a synthetic. The fabric is DWR coated which means it's not fully waterproof, but it is water-resistant so if you get caught wearing it in light rain or snow there's no need to panic. The cuffs and hem are all elastic and even the pockets are micro-fleece lined so all in all every part of this jacket is designed to be as comfy and cozy as you ever thought possible.
