Precision and control at all times.

XPLOSIVE.

The Cartel X has made quite a name for itself over the past few years and it's not hard to understand why. Among the rest of the Burton binding lineup, you won't find something this powerful and precise. This is the option for an all-mountain rider looking for something that's going to feel stable and aggressive at speed, and responsive in tighter terrain. What sets this binding apart is a little rubber piece added in the high back that hugs your heel and keeps your foot totally locked in. The rubber piece adds grip, lock, and responsiveness. It increases connectivity with the board and will maintain that connectivity at high speeds. The Cartel X will be a loyal companion to anyone who prefers a stiffer binding. At speed, it will provide stability no matter how fast you’re going or how far you’re leaning the board over. In tighter terrain, obviously, it’s going to be more work to bend a more flexible binding, but aggressive riders will appreciate its response and power. As a cherry on top, a cushioned footbed provides great underfoot comfort and flexible straps increase grip and lock your foot in. Comfort maximized, fatigue minimized.
