Blizzard Anomaly 94 Skis 2025

The Blizzard Anomaly 94 has taken a ton of inspiration from some of the great Blizzard skis over the past few seasons. It has power and grip similar to the Bonafide 97 and it's easy to balance on like the Rustler 9. Compared to the Brahma/Bonafide skis the Anomaly 94 replaced, this is worlds easier to ski. For an all-mountain ski, there aren't many skis that can keep up with the Anomaly 94 over the variety of terrain the Anomaly can handle. It can arc a turn but is agile enough for soft snow and tight terrain.

The Anomaly carves like a more narrow ski, provides stability and power, and is maneuverable enough for trees and steeps.

THE MOST WELL- ROUNDED SKI BLIZZARD HAS EVER MADE? YEAH, PROBABLY.

The Blizzard Anomaly 94 has all of the characteristics most skiers are looking for in a ski that can "do it all" regardless of conditions or terrain. The Anomaly 94 is a well-rounded ski that is easier to ski than the old Bonafide 97, works for a much larger variety of terrain, and can still be pushed to the limit without feeling nervous. The Anomaly 94 is more maneuverable off-piste or in softer snow compared to the narrower Anomaly 88 or 84 while still offering a ton of grip and stability in a turn. The Anomaly has a strong camber profile underfoot to allow the ski to bite into firm terrain while also having a rocker profile that is plenty generous for quick short turns off-piste or on steep terrain. Compared to the Blizzard Rustler 9, the Anomaly 94 is more geared for hard-charging and lapping groomers but it is no slouch off-trail either, it's just a burlier more directional ski than the Rustler 9. Blizzard has done a great job building a ski that can be skied hard but isn't as hard to ski as the predecessors and they've made it more "all-mountain" capable than the skis that came before it. The Anomaly 94 is one of the more powerful options in its category but isn't as cumbersome or laborious as the Volkl Mantra M7. The Anomaly 94 doesn't rail a turn quite like the old Bonafide 97 but it's got plenty of grip and zip to make any groomer day a blast.

Who is this ski for? Skiers who want a wider-waisted ski for blasting groomers and arcing turns but need some maneuverability for trips through the trees or more technical terrain.

Who isn't this ski for? Skiers who like playful skis or skiers who spend a ton of time off trail. The Blizzard Rustler 9 is a better option in that regard.

The Test Crew

We test products year round in order to curate the best gear for you.

The Blizzard Anomaly 94 is the most well-rounded option in the new Anomaly line. It has some great Blizzard DNA while being easier to ski than the Brahma/Bonafide it replaced. It's a beast on a groomer and easy enough in the trees. Winner.
