The Guide Glove is the best pair of gloves you can buy from Black Diamond and quite possibly from anyone. These digit protectors are designed with some serious wear and tear in mind and they can definitely stand up to a few hundred day seasons in a row. Black Diamond has laid the ground work with Gore-Tex XCR waterproofing. XCR is focused on breathability more so than other Gore-Tex membranes so it goes really well in a glove that is this much of a work horse. Building on that, Black Diamond has utilized four way stretch nylon fabric on the back of the glove for durability and range of motion. The palm and the fingers are covered with goat leather, some of the most durable leather available. To top it all off this glove is stitched together with kevlar threads. Another highly functional feature of this glove is the removable liner. The liner is constructed with 170g Primaloft Gold and boiled wool. Since you can take it out of the glove at the end of the day drying time is greatly increased.
