A ski that carves shockingly well for being 93mm wide. While the Serpo loves to carve it is more than capable all over the hill even in the trees and softer snow. Easy enough to balance on, easily accessible power and, predictable feel make it one of our top tested skis for the past 3 seasons.

Light, nimble, and fairly 'easy' to ski, yet powerful and precise with an energy that puts a smile on your face.
The Black Crows Serpo is in its 3rd season running, and it's still running at the front of the pack. This is one of those skis that all of our testers reach for and it lives on a lot of our tester's top tested list. At 93mm underfoot the Serpo has an all-mountain platform but the Serpo loves to carve turns on the frontside. For a ski that carves this well, it is by no means demanding and actually feels light and nimble underfoot. Leaned into a turn the Serpo feels limitless and confident no matter the speed or edge angle. In tight terrain, the light feel underfoot will allow you to pick your way through with ease. In softer or heavier snow you'll appreciate the 93mm waist width and wider shovel the Serpo offers to help keep you on top of the snow and the Serpo is strong enough to blast through crud with confidence. Expert skiers will love this ski but it's also a ski that intermediates will appreciate. It initiates turns smoothly and with confidence and it's forgiving enough to allow skiers with less than perfect form to access the power and precision the Serpo has without feeling like the Serpo is too much ski, or difficult to control. The Serpo is accessible and predictable which are traits that skiers of all abilities generally look for and appreciate in good skis.
Who is this ski for? Honestly, skiers of all abilities who love to ski groomers but want something versatile enough to handle some softer snow or variable terrain. Skiers that like a powerful, stable ski that isn't difficult or sluggish at low speeds.
Who isn't this ski for? People shopping for a powder ski, this isn't a powder ski. Oh, and skiers who hate great skis.

The Serpo is a ski that you can lean into and feel confident in but still provides the fun and lively feel that we all love so much when you have a chance to get off trail. That feeling is there on trail too, but in a more controlled and calculated way.
