The Atomic Volant 5000 brings some Volant heritage back to the ski world. It looks like a Volant and skis like an Atomic, what's better than that? A Stainless top sheet and a full wood core come together to give you a skiing experience like no other. The Volant 5000 is one of the quickest skis edge to edge and loves making quick turns over a perfect groomer. This isn't the most powerful carving ski out there but it's a blast to rip down groomers when you want to make as many turns as possible. It's agile, nimble and energetic to keep your groomer day as exciting as possible. It feels confident at higher speeds but isn't demanding or difficult at lower speeds. It lacks maneuverability in the trees and doesn't handle soft snow all that well, but that's not what this ski was built for. However, the Volant 5000 is stout enough to handle some heavier spring snow later in the season making it an awesome addition to your quiver. Groomers are where this ski shines (literally) and there aren't many skis in the carving category that are this nimble and quick. If you're looking for an awesome ski to slice and dice the front side this is one of the best options. 

Who is this ski for? Skiers who love to carve on groomers. 

Who isn't this ski for? Skiers who spend a ton of time off-piste or skiers looking for the most versatile ski on the market.
