The best of both worlds. Great on the downhill and smooth on the up.

LIGHT WEIGHT SHIFTIN'

It took a couple years, but the lower-DIN Shift binding is finally here. In the last couple seasons, lighter weight skiers (roughly 140 pounds and under), could have had issues clicking into the Shift because they weren't heavy enough to engage the heel piece, or their reccomended DIN setting simply wasn't high enough. The Shift 10 is the exact same binding has the Shift 13 from a functionality perspective, the pieces are the same and it works the same way, honestly the Shift has revolutionized the Alpine Touring world to the point where it's really hard to justify buying any other binding for your touring skis.

If you're over 140 pounds, the Shift 13 may suit you better. If you're under 140 pounds but an aggressive Type 3 skier, the Shift 13 still may be better, but the Shift 10 fills a hole in the market for lighter weight, intermediate to expert skiers looking to do some touring and some resort skiing.

*Not compatible with boots that DO NOT have full toe and heel lugs: i.e Atomic Backlands, Arc'teryx Procline, Dynafit Hoji, Salomon X-Alp...are a few to name.
