Crème de la crème of high performance ski boots. Awesome power meets an unbelievable fit.

THESE IS RED BOTTOMS.

The Atomic Redster CS (Club Sport) is the closest thing you can get to a "race boot" or "plug boot" without any of the discomforts typically associated with high-performance boots. Impossible right? Wrong. This is the first season we had the opportunity to test and ski in this boot, we were a little hesitant thinking it may be "more boot" than necessary or too aggressive for the average weekend warrior's needs. Again, wrong. The Redster CS has every ounce of performance even the most aggressive or strong skier might need but none of the downsides. The liner is snug, but plush enough, in the right areas to offer a great feel inside the boot to keep the dawgs from barking at the resort. It pushes the envelope on limitless allowing skiers to get the most out of their skis. The Redster is wildly responsive but not twitchy when sending energy from boot to ski. It provides awesome stability laterally and in the rearward sense as well to keep you engaged with the ski and in control when skiing harder or tougher terrain. We're thrilled to have this boot as an offering this season for hard-charging skiers who are coming out of uncomfortable "race boots" or resort skiers who want unmatched power, and stability, and need a boot that can squeeze every last ounce of performance out of their skis.

Bootfitter's notes:

The Redster CS 130 was shockingly easy to modify considering the 96mm last, thick shell wall, and dense liner. Out of the box (unmolded), the Redster feels like it needs some work before it will feel perfect on your foot. The length is a little short and the toes can feel a little crowded. The heel pocket can also feel a bit overbearing or "awkward." However, all of that is remedied once the shell is baked, the liner is molded and the boot is skied in for a few days. Atomic's Memory fit shell is no joke -- neither is their Mimic liner. The Redsters that we tested did not require any additional work after the molding process, that was especially surprising considering the work that some of us have had to do on past ski boots. Memory fit and Mimic are not a silver bullet for all foot shapes, but for a boot that fits and skis with as much precision and performance, this is a tough boot to beat in the high-performance realm.
