If you have a narrow/low volume foot and you need a boot to go touring or even a 1 ski boot quiver for all days on the hill; the Ultra XTD 95w should be on your list.  It's super light, walks well and skis great. Beyond all-mountain the Ultra XTD 95 is killer in the backcountry and lift served days.  After a solid day, throw these things into walk mode and enjoy your beverage of choice.

How's the fit? The 98mm shouldn't  scare you off, it's a forgiving 98 mm in the forefoot. Partly because the shell is a little bit thinner and anatomical. The toe box is a bit more pointed, but will not affect going up or down a size.  The heel pocket is snug and precise. Out of the box you may notice more pressure on the tips of your ankle bones, this will go away after heat molding the shell.  Instep room is generous for a 98 mm last. This is the snuggest hybrid touring boot available. Yes it is snugger than the Lange XT3 LV.
