A low-volume fit in a 120 flex boot. Powerful enough to drive most recreational skis with efficiency but a more forgiving flex and softer liner will help to keep the average skier happy throughout the course of the day. Great for skiers with narrow feet or those who want a more precise feel but you don't need to be in the stiffest flexing boots.

A 120 flex boot that offers top-tier fit aspects but with a more forgiving flex pattern.
The Atomic Hawx Ultra 120 is one of our most popular low-volume boots. The 120 flex works for a huge range of skiers and compared to the stiffer Ultra 130, the Ultra 120 has a slightly more supple liner giving it an edge as far as comfort goes (without sacrificing a ton of performance). A 120 flex, combined with a low-volume fit, is great for average to expert skiers looking for a precise fit who don't need to be in the stiffest boots out there. The Ultra 120 can drive just about any ski out there but is going to be more forgiving in the flex pattern which is great for less experienced skiers who don't have perfect form. One of the best things about the Ultra series is how easy they are to modify if you have more sensitive areas on your feet. It's not just the liner that can be molded to your feet, the shell is heat moldable as well. If you are looking for a more powerful boot and want a slightly denser liner, check out the Ultra 130. If you're a less experienced or lighter-weight skier, check out the Ultra 110.
The 98mm shouldn't scare you off, and compared to the stiffer Ultra 130 the 120 liner is more supple. It's a forgiving 98 mm in the forefoot after the shell and liner are molded. The toe box is a bit more pointed, but will not affect going up or down a size. The heel pocket is snug and precise. Out of the box, you may notice more pressure on the tips of your ankle bones, this will go away after heat molding the shell. Instep and top of the foot are on the more generous side. Compared to older versions of the Ultra, the 23/24 model has a better fitting liner. It's more anatomical around the heel and ankle and feels more relaxed in the toe box.

If you have narrow feet and you're an average skier (or lighter-weight expert) the Ultra 120 is an awesome option. It offers really solid foot retention without being overbearing. The liner update for this season is a major improvement over previous models.
