Armada made an awesome upgrade to the Reliance 82Ti for the upcoming season. The most significant change comes from a new core and redesigned rocker profile, both of these new features make the ski less demanding. It's now easier to ski without sacrificing the ski's performance capabilities. Compared to previous versions of this ski, the new one has a more well-rounded flex pattern making it more intuitive and energetic. Even though this is a more narrow ski it shares some characteristics you'd find in a wider ski. It has enough rocker in the tip and tail to be smeared around and the turn initiation is very smooth. At high speeds, this ski feels planted and stable but not dead, and rolling from edge to edge feels almost automatic. This ski grips really well, will eat up any groomer you throw at it, and can make any turn shape. Its wider sibling, the Reliance 92ti, is one of the best skis out there. The Reliance 82 is just more focused on crushing groomers.
Who's this ski for? Skiers looking for a dedicated frontside ski that isn't a ton of work to ski and isn't as aggressive as some of the other options.
Who isn't this ski for? Skiers who plan on spending any significant amount of time beyond the groomed terrain.
