The all-new ARV 112 is a valuable addition to the iconic ARV family. It bridges the gap between the 100mm and 116mm models, making it a great option for anyone looking for a soft snow ski without going too wide. While the 112 is a powder ski, but doesn't feel as one-dimensional as wider options. It maintains enough all-mountain ability that it's not going to feel silly if you want to spin a few groomer laps or the snow coverage isn't great. Soft snow is where it will feel most at home. It floats great and pivots on a dime, making it one of the best weapons for those days when it doesn't stop dumping. It has a forgiving flex pattern and a good amount of rocker in the tip and tail, making it playful, agile, and easy to maneuver. A quick feel will help make the ski feel predictable and not overbearing, this will boost your confidence when it comes time to tackle tougher terrain. Twin tip construction and a softer flex pattern give it a surfy, balanced feel that more freestyle-minded riders will love. If you want to send cliffs or take your butters to the backcountry this will make it easier. What's great about a 112mm powder ski is that conditions don't have to be money for the ski to perform well. The ARV 112 will still be a fun option a few days after the storm, or on those slushy spring slush days when you just want to slash around on something playful.
