If you’ve had lots of problems with uncomfortable or painful ski boots in the past, the Apex Ski Boot System could be worth checking out. They’ve been in the game for about a dozen years now, and have solidified themselves as a great option for people who have a hard time finding a well-fitting ski boot in the past. It’s two part system where the inner walking boot is a nice and comfortable snowboard boot and functions as your uphill hiking boot, or just your après ski walk around boot. Then when you’re ready to ski you just clip on the stiff outer chassis for ski boot performance, without sacrificing any of the comfort inside. The flex is adjustable and can range from 95 - 115, but if you’re looking for a stiffer, more aggressive boot in the same style, check out the Apex XP Boots for maximum performance.
