The new Mach BOA 120 is a powerful boot built for people with wide feet who are more comfort oriented skiers who still want a boot that can drive skis easily. The Mach BOA 120 has a generous 103mm last in 26.5 and that is about as wide as they come. This boot can stand up to the demands of a strong skier with its 120 flex rating. Tecnica added features like double Quick-Instep and Lift-Lock buckles to make these boots VERY easy to get on and off. The liner in the Mach BOA is thinner on purpose to make the boot more generous in throughout. Even though this liner is thinner, it still does a good job of keeping your foot secure so you can drive skis and not worry about your feet moving around. If you lean more towards a comfortable fit but need some performance, put this boot on your list. The combination of a BOA dial, plush liner, and 120 flex make this one of the more popular boots for intermediate skiers with wider foot shapes who prefer a more plush feel. 

Bootfitter's Notes

The Mach BOA 120 is a high-volume boot in every aspect of fit. The cuff is accommodating enough for larger/more athletic calves, there is ample room across the instep and on top of the foot for skiers with higher arches, the width is on the more generous side of the stated 103 mm last, and the heel area isn't suffocating. The Mach Sport is also one of the easier boots to make modifications to if you have more sensitive areas on your feet.
