The SpeedMachine 110 is a mid-volume boot that can fit a lot of different foot shapes. The 110 flex is powerful enough to drive skis efficiently while also being forgiving enough to allow skiers who aren't perfect to make mistakes. This is an awesome boot for beginner to intermediate skiers making the jump from rentals or more experienced skiers who don't want a stiff flexing boot.

NEED FOR SPEED.

The SpeedMachine 110 is one of the best options for progressing skiers who don't want the most aggressive boot but want something that can perform and grow with them. Along with the rest of the SpeedMachine family, Nordica gave the 110 a BOA dial to replace the traditional buckle system. This doesn't impact how the boot skis, it just makes it fit a little friendlier and more consistent on top of the foot. In terms of ski performance, the boot still provides a forgiving flex that makes sense for less experienced and less aggressive skiers. At a 110 flex, it has a smooth and predictable flex pattern that is sure to make your skiing feel more effortless. Bending the boot takes less work, therefore turning the ski takes less work. It makes sense for progressing skiers or more experienced skiers who don't want to be in the stiffest boot out there. This is a great boot for a wide range of abilities as long as you aren't looking for the stiffest, most powerful boot on the market. It can drive skis easily and help you drive skis more predictably. 

Bootfitter's Notes

The SpeedMachine 110 is a true mid-volume boot. It feels snug on the sides of the feet but not suffocating or uncomfortable for average feet. Length is on the more generous side, but not enough to size down. The boot can fit aggressively on top of the foot, but the addition of a BOA dial allows the skier to ease that pressure if it feels like too much. The heel and achilles area are the most precise portion of this boot but this will break in nicely after the boot is molded to your foot. If you want a more powerful and precise fit, check out the 120 or 130 flex SpeedMachines.
