Nordica Dobermann Multipista DC Skis 2026

$1,299.99

The 2026 Nordica Multipista DC is a groomer-focused powerhouse. Locked-in and stable on hardpack, smooth through variable snow if you need it be, and rewarding for skiers who like to drive hard, it’s precise, confident, and built for edge-to-edge performance. It's more forgiving than the Nordica Multigara, making it a great option for a range of skier types. It prefers medium radius turns but can be slashed into shorter turns and has enough edge hold to be coaxed into long arcs. This is one of our favorite frontside skis for 2026.

WHO LET THE DOGS OUT?

The 2026 Nordica Dobermann Multipista DC is all about precision and confidence on groomers, but it’s surprisingly versatile for a race-inspired ski. As our Nordica sales rep put it: "All-mountain tip shape, beer league racer body." A ski like this is right up our alley and it's one of our favorite front-side options for this season. On firm, corduroy mornings, it feels locked in and planted, letting you drive hard through long turns without ever feeling like it’s fighting you. It can also be "cheated" into shorter turn shapes thanks to a slightly forgiving flex pattern and a well balanced shape.

The ski’s responsiveness makes transitions between arcs smooth and intuitive, so you can link turns naturally at speed. When conditions get variable, think scraped-off hardpack, light chop, or icy runs... the Multipista DC holds its line without harsh chatter or feedback, offering a smooth, stable, predictable ride that keeps you confident from top to bottom.

While it shines most on-piste, the Multipista DC can handle tighter trails or slightly softer snow better than you’d expect from a carving ski, letting you pivot through moguls or narrower sections with a sense of ease and control. Compared to skis like the Nordica Enforcer series, it’s less forgiving or versatile in softer, deeper snow, but where it excels is in precision, grip and energy. The Multipista rewards skiers who like to ski aggressively and demand crisp performance from edge to edge. It is worth noting that while this ski is more tailored for aggressive skiers, it's not a "difficult" ski to be on so intermediate skiers shouldn't be worried.

For anyone who spends most of their time on groomers but wants a ski that can handle a variety of trail conditions without losing stability or confidence, the Multipista DC is a high-performance choice.

Who is this for? Skiers who live for fast, precise carving on groomers but still want a ski that can handle variable trail conditions with confidence.
Who is this not for? Powder hounds or those looking for a playful, soft-snow ski. This one is built for groomers and edge control.
