THE NEXT EPISODE.

The Chronic has been a staple in the Line Skis collection for over a decade now, and as of last season the ski comes in a few different waist widths, but the 94 is going to be most similar to the OG Chronic. Aside from a few minor technology updates, the biggest difference between this ski and previous versions of the Chronic is just ONE less millimeter underfoot. The change is not huge, which is good news if you're looking for a freestyle-focused all-mountain ski, because it doesn't get much better than this. At 94MM underfoot with a soft flex pattern, the Chronic is the perfect daily driver for someone who rips the park but doesn’t want to sacrifice too much versatility with their park ski. The Chronic is no doubt one of the best skis for lapping the park, but it can also hang off-piste. While it wouldn't be the best ski to bring out on a waist-deep blower pow day, it's energetic and wide enough to handle a bit of softer snow in more variable terrain. Because it's so soft and loose feeling, ripping through tighter trees, technical terrain and gnarly snowpack feels pretty effortless on this thing. In the all-mountain, 90-100 waist width category, there are of course skis that are much more powerful than the Chronic; don't get these skis if you're looking for power, stability, and groomer performance. Compared to most skis in this category, the Chronic is going to be more playful, poppy, and energetic. If that's what you're looking for, put the Chronic on your radar.

Who is this for? Skiers who's favorite place to be is the park but still want something that will get the job done elsewhere.
Who is this not for? Skiers who want their ski to bite hard on firm groomers, skiers who have no desire to ski backward, and skiers who call it the snowboard park.
