The ARV 116 JJ UL (ultra light) is a souped-up version of the popular JJ.  If this is the ski you're using when snow is perfect and deep, you're going to be stoked.  While the regular ARV 116 is better in crusty snow, the reason for getting a 116 mm waist isn't for crusty snow, it's for when the stars align, one of the stars being the JJ UL.  For being less of a directional shaped ski, it skis really well when you're just pointing the skis down an open bowl in 6th gear.
