The Magna 120 is one of the best performing wide fitting boots on the market. Obviously, it's not quite as responsive and aggressive as the Magna 130, but it's pretty dang close. The two boots share many of the same features, including Atomic's Mimic Platinum liner, which is as good as it gets. Thanks to the way the liner wraps your heel, the Magna has a more precise fit in this area than other high-volume boots. The 120 is built for skiers who like to ski aggressively but don't demand the stiffest boot. A lot of us don't need to be pedal to the metal at all times, right? It can still efficiently drive any all-mountain ski with confidence, it's just slightly less responsive than its stiffer counterpart. If you're someone who skis hard and has struggled to find a boot that's wide enough to feel good on the sides of your feet, give the Magna a shot, it's exactly what you're looking for. 

Bootfitter's Notes

The Atomic Hawx Magna 120 is a true high-volume fit for skiers with wider feet or comfort-oriented skiers. It is generous in width and on top of the foot while being firm enough in the heel to keep you planted. Out of the box, toes may feel a bit crowded in length and vertically but this will open up very quickly and does not warrant sizing up. The shell on the Hawx Magna is heat moldable along with the liner making the fitting process a breeze for customers and boot-fitters.
