The Tecnica Cochise 105 is an incredibly popular boot for female skiers who want one boot that can take them from the resort to the backcountry, to the aprés scene, and back again without ever skipping a beat. The 105 flex punches above its weight class as far as performance goes and will be able to handle aggressive skiers and bend burlier skis if you need them to. Considerin the performance this boot offers, the fit isn't overbearing. It's a great balance of comfort where recreational skiers want it to be, and precision where more advanced skiers need it to be. Boots that ski this well on the downhill don't often tour well -- not the Cochise. This boot has a walk mode that allows for a smooth and natural stride on ascents or for when you're cruising around the resort or bar. This is one of the more popular boots for intermediate to advanced skiers looking for one boot to do it all. 

Bootfitter's Notes

The Cochise 105 has a more forgiving mid-volume fit than its advertised 99mm last. It's firmer in the heel than the softer flexing Cochise 95 and offers a solid heel hold. Length may feel a tad short before the boot is molded, but not enough to worry about sizing up. Instep and top of the foot are exactly what you'd expect from a mid-volume boot. The cuff is able to accommodate larger or more athletic calves too. If you have more sensitive areas on your feet, the Tecnica Cochise is one of the easiest boots to modify if necessary.
