The new Nordica Unlimited 105 is one of the best boots for female skiers who need a boot that can crush resort ski days as well as some touring laps. The Unlimited 105 replaces the Nordica Strider and is a major improvement in fit and performance. The Unlimited 105 has a responsive and powerful feel when flexing into it that will allow intermediate to advanced skiers to steer and control skis with ease and predictability. This isn't the stiffest version of the Unlimited, but that's what makes it an awesome option for skiers who aren't always perfect out on the hill. The Unlimited 105 sends energy from you to your skis in a smooth fashion and will help to keep your ski days efficient. On touring days, the Unlimited has an incredibly smooth walk mode that allows for a natural stride uphill. The Unlimited also uses lighter weight construction compared to a traditional downhill boot so you'll save some time and weight on uphill days. This is one of the best new boots in the resort-focused, touring-capable category of ski boots. 

Bootfitter's Notes

The Nordica Unlimited 105 shares a lot of the fit characteristics of the Nordica SpeedMachine 105; if that boot fits your foot the chances of the Unlimited 105 fitting are really high. The Unlimited 105 is snug in the heel, true to a mid-volume fit in width, and a bit generous in length. The top of the foot and instep are true to a mid-volume fit but leaning towards the more precise side of things; however, the closure system on the lower shell wraps the foot evenly to avoid buckles digging into the top of your foot even when those buckles are cranked down. The liner is heat moldable which will help to take out any small pressure points you may have in the boot with very minimal work. Compared to the stiffer flexing Unlimited 115, the Unlimited 105 isn't as powerful and the liner is a little less precise fitting.
