The Speedmachine 105w shouldn't scare you off because it has a 3 digit flex number, while it's built for an expert skier it's a more approachable flex pattern that'll be great for aspiring/progressing skiers.  A strong construction that provides great responsiveness so you get every ounce of fun out of your ski setup. The SpeedMachine series of boots also provides best-in-class lateral stiffness, making it incredibly easy to roll your skis from edge to edge effortlessly. The goal of a recreational ski boot is to make your skiing as efficient as possible while maintaining a nice level of comfort to allow you to ski as long as you want without having to worry about your feet. The SpeedMachine is one of the best boots for that. It's also one of our most popular women's specific boots. It works for a huge range of skier types and foot shapes. 

 

Bootfitter's Notes

The Nordica SpeedMachine 105 is a true mid-volume with a generous toe box. Great for skiers with average feet who don't want to cram into a low volume boot. There is less room on top of the instep of the Speedmachine 105 than some other 100mm lasted boots but it's not aggressive. The area around the will feel snug before the liner is molded (slight pinch) but this will relax quickly. The cuff is also accommodating enough for more athletic calves and can be adjusted easily as well.
