The new Veloce line, from Dalbello, does a good job of blending some of the brands racing DNA into a more comfortable, and accessible ski boot. At a 105 flex this boot is great for skiers who want a powerful boot that is capable of driving just about any ski without sacrificing too much comfort. For a 105 flex boot, the Veloce 105 is relatively easy to put on and provides good warmth. It has a smooth and prgressive flex pattern and the liner is snug in the right places, but not aggressive. If you have average feet and are looking for a more comfort minded 105 flex boot, this is a great option. 

 

Bootfitter's Notes

The Veloce 105 is snug in the heel and locks your foot down well. The mid/forefoot area of the boot more generous than some other 100mm lasted boots. Instep and top of the foot is snug and precise but not overbearing. Toe box is generous in length and length. Looking for a more plush boot, go Veloce 95. Cuff of this boot is more on the precise side but not so much that it pinches. The tongue has a supple feel and offers good cushion against the shin as well. Being a more comfort oriented mid volume boot makes this a great option for skiers that don't want to be in a boot that is tough to ski in all day. Intermediate skiers, don't let the 105 flex number push you away, this is an easier to bend 105 flex boot.
