Tecnica Cochise HV 130 Ski Boots 2026
The Tecnica Cochise 130 HV has become one of the most popular alpine touring boots on the market for skiers with wider feet looking for a powerful but generous fit in a hybrid AT boot. It's powerful enough to handle aggressive skiing in the resort while being wide enough to accommodate wider foot shapes; ski boots do not need to be uncomfortable. At a 130 flex, the Cochise HV offers good rebound and stiffness to be pushed hard and to push burlier skis around the hill. For an alpine touring boot, the Cochise is never out of place at the resort while still being more than capable in the backcountry. For advanced skiers looking for "one boot to do it all," the Cochise is one of the best. When you are out there touring in this boot you can tell it isn't the lightest thing out there, but the external walk mode and a few other touring features make the Cochise 130 HV an efficient tool for short ascents on touring bindings or even quick boot packs to terrain you can't access via chairlift. Use the sizing chart below to get a general idea of your ski boot size, but keep in mind that personal shoe habits — like sizing up — can make charts misleading. Ski boots are sized in mondo point, which is simply the length of your foot in centimeters, and there’s no true half sizing — 26.0 and 26.5 are typically the same boot.
