Blizzard Canvas 100 Skis 2027

$699.99

The Canvas 100 is Blizzard's most playful ski ever. Lighter, softer, and looser than anything they've built before, it's designed for skiers who see the mountain as a playground instead of a race course.

Not Your Dad's Blizzard.

If you've spent any time skiing Blizzard skis over the last twenty years, the Canvas 100 might completely change your perception of the brand.

This is not another Bonafide. It's not another Brahma. It's not even another Rustler.

The Canvas 100 represents one of the biggest departures Blizzard has ever taken from its traditional Austrian roots. In fact, according to Blizzard's own product team, this project took nearly three years and roughly eighty prototypes before they felt they got it right.

Why?

Because the goal wasn't to build another powerful directional charger. The goal was to build a ski for modern freestyle-minded all-mountain skiers who value creativity, maneuverability, and fun above all else.

Mission accomplished.

The first thing you'll notice is the weight. At under 1800 grams per ski, the Canvas feels noticeably lighter on your feet than something like the Rustler 10. That lighter construction translates directly into a ski that feels quick, playful, and eager to leave the ground whenever the opportunity presents itself.

The shape follows the same philosophy. There's significantly more rocker, softer tips and tails, and less emphasis on traditional edge hold than we've come to expect from Blizzard. This isn't a ski designed to carve railroad tracks across bulletproof groomers. It's designed to slash, butter, smear, pop, and make the mountain feel smaller.

That's not to say it lacks backbone. Blizzard uses a narrow titanal beam running through the ski, but unlike many of their other models, the metal isn't there to make the ski feel more powerful or demanding. Instead, it helps preserve the shape and profile of the ski while adding durability and longevity.

The result is a ski that's playful without feeling flimsy.

Compared to the Rustler 10, the Canvas 100 is lighter, softer, more maneuverable, and far more freestyle-oriented. The Rustler remains the stronger choice for skiers who prioritize stability, edge hold, and directional skiing. The Canvas is for skiers who see every side hit as mandatory and think a slash turn is more fun than a carved one.

Perhaps the most impressive thing is that Blizzard was willing to build it at all. For decades the brand has been known for powerful, precise skis that reward aggressive technique. The Canvas 100 goes in the opposite direction, prioritizing creativity over precision and freedom over structure.

And honestly?

It's one of the most interesting skis Blizzard has released in years.
