Armada Kimbo 95 Skis 2026

$749.95

The 2026 Armada Kimbo 95 is a playful ski built for freestyle skiers. Its soft tips and stout midsection make buttering, spinning, and quick turns feel effortless, while the sturdy construction keep it surprisingly precise. Kim Boberg’s design blends creativity with a nimble 95 mm width give it a park-ready, all-mountain-friendly personality. It thrives on groomers, soft snow, and playful terrain, but it’s not made for icy straight-lining or deep powder days. If you live for spins, presses, and quick carves, the Kimbo delivers a true experience; if you crave brute-force performance, look elsewhere.

RIP KIMBO SLICE.

The Armada Kimbo 95 is loaded with performance, freestyle DNA and a touch of weird. This ski is like a sponge on the tips and tail, buttery even, thanks to a poplar woodcore and a ton of freestyle rocker. It’s effortless to pivot, and spin, yet the stiffer section underfoot and behind the binding provides surprising torsional rigidity, so when you pull into a turn, it holds with confidence without flopping over. Designed by Kim Boberg, the Kimbo blends  creativity with function: the shape of the ski and the construction enhances its playful flex without turning it into a noodle. It can handle slushy snow and grip on groomers, while the stout construction underfoot delivers crisp edge hold even at higher speeds. The Kimbo balances maneuverability and playfulness with all-mountain versatility.

On groomers, it carves well, though it’s more about finesse than brute force. In softer snow, it floats, but it truly shines in more typical snow conditions as opposed to deep days. In the park, it’s got energy makinig airs, presses, and landings feel fresh and fun, it's really well balanced. The Kimbo is perfect for park skiers who love to carve, butter, and spin between features, but it’s not ideal for groomer enthusiasts who want a ski that drives like a true GS ski.

Ultimately, the Kimbo is a riot. It's loose when you are, but surprisingly stable when you need it. Think of it as the lovechild of a Declivity a BDog and a Stranger, a true Armada "frankenski". It’s not for everyone, but if you live for park laps, playful turns on groomers, and creativity everywhere, the Kimbo might be your spirit animal.

Who is this for? Freestyle or park skiers who also like to throw down carves. Its not a traditional all mountain ski but you can really ski it everywhere.
Who is this not for? Skiers looking for a traditional all-mountain ski or a "normal" carving ski. Wrong page for you.
