TSM x Camp K2

It's always cool to have an invitation like this land in your inbox, and when it comes from K2 you know it's going to be a great time. K2 is the OG in a lot of ways and has continued to be a major player in the ski and snowboard industry. Their portfolio has expanded beyond just skis and snowboards but they continue to push the envolope in the core brands that got them to where they are now, K2 Skis and K2 Snowboarding.

Camp K2 is essentially a party to celebrate all the people that make K2 go, everyone from K2 execs, sales reps, retail buyers, team athletes, olympians, and many more. Powder Mountain in Utah was this years location and it absolutley delivered. We ended up scoring about 3 feet of snow over the course of two days and had the mountain to ourselves...all time is the best way to describe it.

We stayed in an awesome house with Whit and Dawson, our East Coast sales reps, which was right down the road from the two lodges we would frequent throughout the week for breakfast, dinner, and late night festivities. Bower Lodge was the breakfast/espresso bar spot to kick off each morning before heading up to the mountain, as well as the live music venue at night with performances by Russell Winfield & Mikey Leblanc, and the Ying Yang Twins followed by Mix Master Mike. Arbor Lodge was where we had killer dinners, tacos buffet style the first night and steak the following night. After breakfast each day we would make our way up the mountain road to the Skylodge, a super cool boho-chic style lodge, situated at the summit of Powder Mountain. This is where we would gear up, have lunch, and enjoy some cocktails in between the powder turns.

I'll be honest, because the snow was so good, there wasn't a whole lot of hanging out in the Skylodge as cool as it was. Most of the ride days were spent riding, it was just too good not to take advantage. With such great conditions I opted for one of my go-to boards from K2's Landscape collection, the K2 Excavator, while AP shuffled between some of the different Mindbender models. Of course, photos never do it justice but take a look below for a peak into the trip!
