With all the wild board designs out there these days it's easy to feel the pressure to get something with a crazy shape. Here's the truth; the majority of riders don't need anything more than basic, and this board is just that. Could you tell by the name? The dimensions of the Yes Basic make it a super approachable option for new riders and a fun option for more advanced riders who like something on the more playful side. The medium flex design makes the board agile at lower speeds, and is going to help a progressing rider link up turns smoothly without feeling overwhelmed.

The mid-flex design provides effortless control at low and cruising speeds, but makes the board feel slightly nervous when charging hard. If you want a similar board that does a better job handling charging, check out the stiffer YES. Standard. The Yes Basic is also a true twin, meaning it's balanced from front to back and makes a solid choice for those learning how to ride switch or riders interested in the park. The Basic is great for someone trying to become a stronger rider. It's great at low to medium speeds, predictable, and easy to get on edge. The Yes Basic is simply a fun board that will get you through a little bit of everything on the mountain.

Who is this ski for? Progressing beginner or intermediate riders. More playful advanced riders. Park riders. 

Who isn't this ski for? Aggressive riders looking for a powerful hard charging board. The Basic isn't the most stable option out there and does have a speed limit compared to burlier boards.
