The 2016 Volkl Ledge Jr. skis are turnable but capable do-everything skis for pint-size chargers. A modern rocker profile provides edge to edge quickness and all of the versatility of adult skis. As your little shredder gains confidence, and picks up speed seemingly with every turn, edge grip and dampness become essential to his or her safe navigation of more difficult terrain. A full wood core gives these micro-planks massive stability at higher speed by supplying consistent edge contact and minimizing tip chatter through the turn.

Construction 

Power Shell - A full wood core, with a fully capped shell creates a smooth, even flex pattern. Cap construction results in a ski that is super light and therefore highly maneuverable. 

Core

Sensor Wood Core - Fully surrounded by fiberglass, this vertically laminated wood core offers true performance to ripping little guys with the need for speed.

Shape

Full Rocker - A fully rockered profile gives the Mantra high performance ability in any snow conditions. 12.3 meter sidecut is a do-it-all radius on hard pack.

Binding

The Volkl Ledge Jr does not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain, freestyle etc.).
