There’s something about those guys over at The North Face, they just know how to make a jacket. The Powdance is no different, offering top-notch insulation to make sure that this is the only jacket you’ll ever need. Some lightweight fabric jackets compromise on insulation, not the Powdance. At 100g of Heatseeker insulation, this is most certainly a jacket you’re going to be comfortable wearing at the summit of a New Hampshire peak on a windy January afternoon. It’s stretch exterior is made up of specially constructed fabrics to give you the most freedom of movement you’ve ever felt on the mountain. We wouldn’t go so far as to say that Mr. Fantastic himself uses this jacket over his elastic limbs, but we wouldn’t be surprised if he did; it’s got that kind of flexibility. The Napoleon double zipper on the front chest packs a ton of pocket space so storage is never an issue. What else is there to say? The North Face has done it again.

Style

This is a multi-layered waterproof jacket, with breathability and insulation designed for skiing. 

Performance Level

Dryvent 2L - This jacket uses the most versatile, layered construction fabrics to keep you warm, while maintaining high-level breathability. The 100% polyester with mechanical stretch insures that your range of motion is as high as possible. 

Insulation

100g Heatseeker - The recycled polyester inner lining provides excellent insulation for even the coldest conditions. 

Pockets

This jacket has four pockets on the outside, and four more on the inside, for a total of eight pockets. In addition to your two standard hand warmer front pockets, there are chest zipper pockets on either side. The interior of the jacket has dual mesh pockets, as well as a secure and convenient media pocket to keep your phone on hand while you’re on the mountain. To top it off, the Powdance even has an internal goggle pocket because they truly have thought of everything. 

Venting

This jacket has underarm vents under each arm.
