The new Lostrail shell jacket from The North Face is built to handle the mountains and take you safely home. This jacket is supremely waterproof thanks to a 2L Gore-Tex fabric. By having the 2 layer Gore membrane as oppose to the three, you still get awesome waterproofing, but with less weight and crunch than in the three layer. The Lostrail jacket has super smooth zippers and all the pockets a skier could want. The jacket comes with a helmet compatible hood and a powder skirt that clips into other North Face pants. Pair it with a sweet insulating mid-layer and you’re ready to conquer.

Performance Level

Gore-Tex 2L - The ultra-waterproof membrane that you know Gore-Tex for, in their 2 layer design for decreased weight and less crunchiness. 

Insulation

No insulation in this shell jacket. 

Pockets 

Hand Warmer Pocket - Storm flap covered, these hand warmer pockets are sure to please.

Flap Covered Wrist Pocket - This wrist pocket can be used for an RFID ski pass and it also houses a goggle wipe.

Internal Zip Pocket - Keep you phone or wallet secure. 

Internal Goggle Pocket - The interior of the jacket has a mesh pocket perfect for goggles.
