The GORE-TEX fabric provides a next level of water resistance that typical, front-side ski pants just can’t handle. That’s not to say that those other pants can’t take any water, but these bad boys are meant to be battered with backcountry snow and the worst kind of winter storm from sun up to sundown. The roomy fit of the pants makes sure that when you’re really bearing down to dive into that turn somewhere within five feet of powder, you’ll have all the room you need.

Two water-resistant, side entry zip pockets. Two waterproof YKK cargo pockets with a phone and radio holder.  YKK sealed center front zip pocket. 

Venting

Chimney Venting - The North Face’s newest venting technology enhances comfort when conditions warm up, with strategically placed vents down the outside of the thigh.
