Touring is your focus and efficiency and light weight up hill is a priority, but you want to have some confidence skiing down -- the Zero G Tour W is a stellar option. At 26.5 this boot weighs in at 1500 g, about as light as you can go before performance downhill falls off a cliff. At a stated flex of 105 it is capable of keeping skis stable enough on descents and has a responsive feel. The Zero G Tour W is a favorite around these parts.

How's the fit? The Zero G Tour W is going to feel a little off before it's molded up to your feet.  The liner will feel like it's loose in spots and too tight in others, don't worry it will get way better with a heat mold.  Length of the boot is true, snug on the instep and heel is true to it's 99 mm last.
