Tecnica made some tweaks to the Mach1 MV fit going into 2021, not a complete overhaul but the new ones have more room on the top of the foot and instep, which is a nice thing because that's typically the hardest place to stretch a boot from a bootfitters perspective. The super popular C.A.S. Liner stays, giving you a really nice feel that matches the shape of your foot, seriously very few 130s feel this comfortable strictly from a foam perspective. They don't put your achilles in a vice like many 130 flex boots, instead the Mach1 130 MV just grabs your foot evenly.  By having better contact with your foot around the ankle and heel, the energy transmission to the skis is much better.  When less energy is lost in transmission you don't have to work as hard to get the skis to do what you want them to do, basically you're going to be skiing way better and having more fun.

How does the LV fit compare to the MV?

The biggest difference is that the MV is going to have more room on top of the foot, better for higher insteps and it’ll feel a bit wider in the forefoot, although that area can be punched on the LV pretty easily. Length is the same but the wider toe box of the MV might make it feel longer.  The heel pocket on the LV will feel a bit narrower than the MV, but the biggest reason to go MV over LV is if you've got a high instep or a portruding bone on the top of your foot.

How's the fit: Precise in the heel and ankle pocket, feels a little wider in the forefoot and roomier on the instep than most 100mm last boots. True to length.
