What Tecnica has done with this new Mach MV shell and C.A.S liner is giving people a fit that perfectly walks the line of comfort and performance.  Everybody wants their feet to feel great and wants all the performance in the world and this boot does a great job at both.  The liner doesn't put your achilles in a vice like many 130 flex boots, instead the Mach1 130 MV grabs your foot evenly.  By having better contact with your foot around the ankle and heel the energy transmission to the skis is much better.  When less energy is lost in transmission you don't have to work as hard to get the skis to do what you want them to do, basically you're going to be skiing way better and having more fun.

How does the LV fit compare to the MV?

The MV is going to have more room on top of the foot, better for higher insteps and it’ll feel a bit wider in the forefoot, length is the same but the wider toe box of the MV might make it feel longer.  The heel pocket on the LV will feel a bit narrower than the MV.

Forward Flex / Boot Fit

The Mach1 130 is a stiff for it's flex rating - no gimmicks here.  If responsiveness is what you are looking for on the hill the Mach1 130 will be plenty of ski boot.  With a plusher fitting liner in the forefoot pressure points are a worry of the past.  Buckle them up once in the morning and leave them alone all day -- that's how good the Mach1 130 MV fits.

Liner

The C.A.S Ultrafit Pro is a little more 'comfort' oreinted than the Ultrafit Pro Race that is found in the Mach1 130 LV.  But the 130 MV still has one of the best out of the box fits you can find.  If you are looking for a liner that is responsive, precise and will keep you comfortable all day this is the ticket.  And yes.... The liner is very warm.
