In all of our years in this business we have never said 'Wow' putting on a pair of ski boots. The C.A.S Liner's anatomical shape grabs on to your heel and ankle giving you a sense of security in ski boots you didn't think could exist -- and it gets WAY better after molding! A good fitting liner is nothing without a good fitting shell and Tecnica most definitely achieved that with the Mach1 130 LV. Though the boot says low volume the anatomical shape of the shell and C.A.S liner feels a little more generous then most 98mm ski boots.
On the performance side of the things the Mach1 130 LV is a ski boot built for bosses. There is no ski too stiff and no terrain to challenging for this fine piece of Italian footwear.
FAQ:
How does the LV fit compare to the MV?
The MV is going to have more room on top of the foot, better for higher insteps and it’ll feel a bit wider in the forefoot, length is the same but the wider toe box of the MV might make it feel longer. The heel pocket on the LV will feel a bit narrower than the MV.
