If you're looking for Low Volume boots, yes that's what LV stands for in the ski world.  The Mach1 105 LV is great if you've felt like there is just a bit too much room on top of the foot in other boots like the X Max or Hawx Ultra.  The Mach1's ski ridiculously well, giving top notch skis some additional horsepower and improved handling.  With a ton of rebound the boots will pop you in and out of turns with out redlining your quads. Much of this review sounds like we're talking about a car, but the name has Mach in it -- it's fitting.  Buy these if you're down for performance and ready to rip.

How does the LV fit compare to the MV?

The MV is going to have more room on top of the foot, better for higher insteps and it’ll feel a bit wider in the forefoot, length is the same but the wider toe box of the MV might make it feel longer.  The heel pocket on the LV will feel a bit narrower than the MV.
